Potential Action Items

• Pick Lists -
  • Inactive Values - A new 'Inactive' flag has been added to Pick List Values.  This can be used for any values that you do not want to show as an option in a list.  If a record is using this value, when you go to that record and try to change it, the inactive value will show as a lighter gray and will not be selectable to encourage you to change it.  This new option should be used instead of the deletion of picklist values or the updating of internal values. 
  • Sort Order - By Default, all pick lists are sorted alphabetically by external value.  IF you want to change this order, you can add a value here.  Lists would then be sorted by sort order, and then alphabetically by external value (if more than one with the same value)

    • Create Admissions Portal User - In Prospect, if the preferred email is filled in, they are not already a student, and they dont have a user yet, there is the option now to create an admissions Portal user.  Their preferred email becomes their user name and a temporary password is displayed.  THis can be sent to an applicant who did not apply via the online application from GNECsis, and it will give them access to the admissions portal that you can configure in admissions > administration.  Here, they can see a list of requirements that they are missing and upload documents that will connect to their record.     • Yearly Profile Verification on Login - a flag has been added in System Administration > Host > Permissions that when set, the student will be prompted to verify their profile upon login if the previous verification is more than one year old.  The date of the last profile verification is in Staff Portal under Academics > Students > Personal Info > Profile (Requested by NTS)
    • Registration  - Limit number of credits to be less than the Minimum Overload Credits for the term, if it is filled in under Academics > Administration > College Terms (Requested by ANU)
    • Financial Hold - New Value for financial hold "Final Grades Withheld - Student Portal" has been added.  When set, student can log in to the student portal and can not view final grades or do gpa calculator and degree audit that show grades (Requested by ANU)
