We have different dates for our last day to add a class and our last day to drop a class. Is it possible to separate these in the system and allow students longer access to drop classes, even after the point of registration has ended? Beyond the back end implications, I would need two places to enter those dates under Academic Terms (see the screenshot included).

I would like to have a zoom meeting so I can learn more about the nuances.
As you already deduced, the Add/Drop deadline should be understood to be the drop deadline. If a student drops a class after that date the class is subject to a refund calculation in Student Accounts and possibly Financial Aid ramifications. Student Accounts contains many additional dates related to refund levels etc. In our meeting we can look at all of the dates and how they impact registration and charges etc and work from that on a solution that meets your needs.

Greetings,
I have made the following changes, and they are now available in your test system. On the terms page, there is now an option to set "Advisor/Student Self-Registration Add Deadline". If this is set, if you select a term on "Add Classes by Audit", "Add Classes By Term" or "Add Classes by Class Period", if the date is past the deadline set above, it will show "Term is not open for adding of classes. Please contact your registrar." By doing it this way, it allows one term to not allow adds but allow drops, and a future term to allow both add and drops. Let me know if you have any questions.
This will be availble in the next release later this month
