  • Action Items - Analysis Area
    With this release, the display of general reports, custom reports and dashboard elements have been aligned.
    • A school can now determine for each one of these which functional area (admissions, academics, Human Resources, etc.) an element will show in.
    • For each element (report or dashboard element) a user group or user can be assigned. In this way, the school has control over which items can be seen in which locations to give the best level of security for their users.
    • You will need to review each one to make sure the proper people are able to see the proper ones. This needs to be done by someone with admin rights. To do this go into the reports functional area.
      • In report configuration:
        • Custom Reports - Edit each one of your custom reports. There is a new area at the bottom to allow you to assign the area(s) on which you want the reports to show.  Without doing this, these will not be visible
        • General Reports- Edit each one of these and review the permissions.  It will allow you to now assign these three elements to each general report. We have defaulted the groups to the current groups that have access, but you can change these to be what you wish. 
      • In dashboard configuration - these same groups for Group Assignment, User Assignment and Areas can be found and set.
