It appears that a Denomination (CMA Denomination) was removed from the System Picklist. It is very important that Picklist values are not removed if they have been assigned to records. The system stores the selected value for a record. When the record is pulled up or a report has that value the system can not find the match from the stored value to the picklist value and causes the error. Thus always make sure there are no records that have a picklist value before deleting a picklist value.
I have added the picklist value for church.denomination>CMA back into the system and the report now works.
