Student Portal

Can the student portal fields under Profile change be edited to add Government ID and County?

Also can we make some fields mandatory? Like if a student doesn't have a phone number, County, government ID ,the system will first ensure he fills them before they can proceed to other sections of the student portal?

Please advise.

Next Release

There are a few different changes related to this going in with the next release.

  1. Academics > Admin > Proposed Profile Change Settings page that will allow you to choose each of the fields in the top section of the profile change request page and whether or not it is displayed for students, required for students, displayed for employees and required for employees. (The lower sections on this page are already controled in host  so this will not change)
  2. The profile change request page on each portal will only show the appropriate fields and require entry of required fields.  If info is missing completely coming in, the no changes... buttons on the student portal when submitting a registration or doing profile verification will not show up, forcing updates.
  3. I have added the government ID as a potential new field on the change request page, and using the steps above, you can display it and/or require it.  The county was not added, because that is not a field within GNECsis.  All typical address fields within GNECsis are on this change request page.
