I can't reopen my other ticket so here is a new one. Sorry.
How does the email function work for payments? We are getting two emails for student payments and only one for App payments. The setup is the same on the First Data side so I am trying to figure out if Genesis is triggering the duplicate for student payments or not but I do not understand how the payment emails are set up/how they interface with First Data.

Payment emails

Hi Stephen,
The code is identical for both. For the applicant payments, the email it is being sent to is apppay@nts.edu and for student payments it is payments@nts.edu. Is it possible that these are groups and more than one person receives it in the one and not the other. Also, possibly a forward is on with one and not the other? I guess try and send an email to both directly from your account and see what happens.
Also double check in FirstData the following (on both the normal and Silent Post payment pages:
a. General Tab – notification email.
b. Receipt Emails tab – email enabled/email address.
That is all I can think of at this point as a place to start looking.

Both checks and CC are setup in a similar manner on First Data. I did test with a direct email to those distribution lists and we only received one copy of those emails so it seems related to the integration. Next steps?

Double check that it is still happening with the most recent fix. If it is, which email is getting duplicated?
