I received notification of a credit card payment this morning and for some reason that payment is not showing on the students account nor is it in the receipts in cashier.
Please advise so I can get the payment on my deposit for today

I see the transaction in the system - 1835 as the out amount and 55.05 as the fee by credit card. I only, though, see the outbound transaction. I don't see a return to GNECsis either by the student or the automated process. Another post happened fine earlier in the day at 07:59 for a different student. This one came back fine with both the student and the automated process (last name MacPherson). I also saw a transaction today that went through (Solano) by echeck. This one the student didn't come back but the process got it. These all posted OK to the student ledger. Possibly it was a network issue as it seems the processing is working OK somewhere between the credit card company and the GNECsis server. The "silent post" happens pretty quickly after the return of the student so if the network was having problems that transaction woudl not get recorded. There is no way to regulate when the silent post occurs from the payment processor - that is set by their automated system and isn't configurable.
You could maybe call the payment processor and see if they can see anything from their end.

I did get an email from Stephen at 11:39 that day saying GNECsis was down. Not sure how long it was unresponsive before that. This could be the cause.
