Good morning!

As per ATS reporting requirements, we would like to be able to run a report specifically for data related to completion rates. We will also be using this data in our own reporting for the institution, so it would be helpful to have a new report called "Completion Report". We need Genesis to pull the student's matriculation date, which is the very first day of the term in which they began classes. So for instance if a student's first term of enrollment was FA-19, then their start date would be "8/19/2019". We would also need their "Grad Date", as well as their "Withdrawal Date" (which they may not have if they didn't withdraw).

The tricky part is that ATS does not want us to include any students who switched degrees, so the report needs to show us their history, which I know appears when you press the "show history" button under the "Majors, Minors, and Audits" in the Academics tab. Per ATS requirement, their instructions state that we cannot include any student who started in one program but then switched to another.

P.S. I've been talking to Dana and Jeff a bit about the start date data as well, which I think ties in with this request somewhat. I need to be able to see the student's exact start date or matriculation date, aka the very first day they started taking classes. I know this is recorded in the majors, minors, audits, but when we switch degree programs it changes the date to record the change of degree. So from my understanding the only way to view their matriculation date is to click "show history" and view the date there. If there is a way to add a column to their Majors, Minors, and Audits that has their matriculation date that would be very helpful. Tying this matriculation date to reports would also be very helpful because it would allow us to complete education verifications and collect data related to retention and completion rates.
