Hi,
Is there a way we can have the grades of students be hidden from certain people who have access to Academics? In a particular situation, we have student assistants and office staff who need to have access to student schedules, but should be restricted from seeing the grades. I would imagine something like what you did with the access to transcripts. They should be able still to see if the courses are completed, dropped, or withdrawn.

Hello,
1. A person with access to System Administration - Security Groups, is needed.
2. Go to the Groups area.
3. Either create a new security group or copy the closest similar security group.
4. Go to the Academics Area, Then the subarea of Student, and look in the security detail options for Students.
5. Disable View of the Final Grades. (You will also need to restrict them from accessing the transcript. You may also need to restrict their ability to see Class instructor grades and assessments as well since the instructor grades typically become the final grades.)
6. Add the employees to this security group that you want to remove their ability to see final grades.
