Hello,
We have a class (NT310) offered second semester 2021-2022. The instructor submitted the grades (please see attached changed history) but GNECSis is not displaying those grades. In addition, the instructor observes that GNECSis does not give the correct computation of grades compared to when she calculated it manually?
Thank you guys for your help. You matter to us.

This instructor used the new assessment groups rather than entering the grades for students under roster. This is designed to allow the instructor to compute the grade and move the grade over to the final grade. The problem with this is that your school doesnt use percentages in your grade scale, so there is no way for the system to compute the letter grade based on those percentages.
It is best if this instructor goes in to the portal, opens up the roster section in the class, and clicks "Enter Final Grades" and enters the letter grade for each student there, and then clicks submit.

Also, if you wish to turn the Assessment Group section off so that it doesnt confuse your professors, this can be done in System Administration > HOst > Permissions under Instructor Portal > Class Details, and unclick assessmentgroups.

Hello, It was also found that the assessment groups calculation was not properly calculating the weighted average final grade due to the intermediate values truncating the values to their whole number. Also the system was not properly saving the percent weight longer then the ones column meaning .15 was being truncated to .1. This has been resolved and will be in the next system update. It is not advised to use the assessment group calculations until this update has been installed on your system.
THank you for providing the details of the issue so that we could resolve it!
