This was resolved before but seems to have creeped up as well but when you do a search, the results do not display/expand but stay hidden in a collapsed section and looking like a null search.
It is helpful for the search box to expand when it is run as was the previous behavior.

We have not made any changes to this. I just tried it and it worked for me in every section that I tried, including Academics > Student. What browser are you using? Did you do anything specific to make it happen? Does anyone else around you have the same issue?

Seems to be an issue with Safari only

We did a little research. Safari ignores the “persistence” of the drop down sections. Meaning, when a page is reloaded, it always has them open or always has them closed. Once the page is loaded, a person can click to open or close them and that works, but when reloaded, it defaults back to all open or all closed.
This is true not just on the search page but in all sections of the site.
We have made a change that will not change the behavior of any other browser, but on safari, the default state of the sections on page load will be open. This seems like the least confusing way to do it.
This will be included in the next release.
