drops not correctly being removed from student account

Good morning all,

This morning I tried to remove a student that dropped his class last week and was dropped this morning.  the term billing did remove all but 100 of the amount but his transactions did not update to only owe $5.00 for a workbook that was sent to him.  See attached screen shot.

We found a couple reasons for the issue.   One was related to the way I set up the billing rule. The second is related to the background coding for how the system responds to billing after the add drop date.  After the add drop date the system does not delete the transactions and recalculate. Instead it is supposed to check for refund level rules. In this case the drop date was before the add drop date but so the system did not remove the charges and hit a snag with the refund level rules. The developers are working hard to get a fix done.

Version 2.62

The version that will be installed later this week will include a new button that is on all of the auto billing screens, which allows you to force delete all term transactions after the add drop deadline. This will get around the need to set up all billing rules as Refund level rules.
