Cross-listed classes showing double enrollment

Hello,

I have a class that is cross-listed. The child class is HB250 Poetry and Psalms (Hebrew) and the parent is OT250 Poetry and Psalms. For reference, these and similar translation classes are typically offered simultaneously with the English exegetical class.

On the All Available classes both appear as 18 enrollees. In fact, no one is taking the HB250 Poetry and Psalms (Hebrew) and it does not appear on my class list under Instructor portal.

The same thing is happening with another set of classes: the child class is UGBS110 Introduction to Biblical Studies (bachelor) and the parent is BS110 Introduction to Biblical Studies (master). No one is enrolled in UGBS110 and it does not appear on my class list under Instructor portal.

Please advise.

Best,

Mitch

Your cross listed courses are

Your cross listed courses are set up incorrectly.  They are set up so that they are both cross listed for each other.  This should not be.  One is the primary course and the other should be cross listed, not both ways. But, in general, the rest is correct.

When scheduling a cross listed course, a class is only created for the primary class.  But, when it is listed to the public, both will show as options to enroll.  This allows students pick the course they actually wish to take.  On the instructor portal, only one class, the class that has actual been created will show. But, on the roster, it should show if they are enrolled in the other one.  One class, multiple courses.
