I am not sure if this is a subticket to "Add ability for admissions to set username and LDAP connection on matriculation" ticket nor not, but it seems we need a way to make sure that the status gets addressed on matriculation. Currently, it seems that status remains "Pre-deposit" by default. This means that they can get a username and password but can't login because they are not "active." This confuses new students and locks them out of Genesis.
Can the status field "pop-up" or something on matriculation similar to what we probably need for creating a user.name and LDAP integration at matriculation from the admissions screen.
