Can we get a report that exports the book lists for each class in a given term? This would be helpful to our librarian to make sure we have all the required books on hand withour her needing to look at every class individually.
Let me know if you have any questions on what we are looking for in the report.

Hello,
I have created a starting advanced query here:
Object
Class / qClass
Category
ClassQuery
Name
Book List - For a term
Modified Dated

There are values that I would like in the query object that are not there. So I have created a separate task to have the additional values added to the query object (ISBN #, Course default books, book notes, for example). If the query I made has the values you want then I can make the query into a School Specific Report and Share it with the group of individual permissions you would like. I can also streamline the query a bit to not focus on the course and just have a list of all books needed for a term in alphabetical order by book or author. The structure of the query object would have books duplicate if the same book was used for two different classes but this would still be very useful for the Libary to see everything.

Thanks. The report was helpful and we would like to add it to our school reports.
The only initial feedback I received was to maybe add the ISBN numbers to the report. I also wondered about how to choose the term/ what are the term parameters.
Thanks for your quick work on it. It saved our librarian a lot fo time for the upcoming Fall semester.

Hello,
I updated the query to add the values that were not in the query object at the time. After adding the additional values we found out that there was a lot of text in the notes field that had commas. These extra commas break the csv export as the csv file reads the extra commas as new cell data. We are working on resolving this so that the spreadsheet will generate correctly with the new fields.
The main culprit is the Purchase Information field and the query works well without this field. I am waiting to see if this is a quick fix or hard fix.

I have added this query as a report for Academic Admin and Admin groups, and the term is updatable when you run the report
