Advanced Search not bringing up correct results

Hi,

this is the first time I have tried to search by advanced search, scholarship application received, and it is bringing back search results of students that are marked as not required.

The example attached has their student id in the financial aid section.

Please advise

"Not Required" marks the Requirement Met

The advanced search is "Requirement Met".  The system considers the requirement met if it has been marked with a status.  By being marked, "Not Required", it considers that requirement fulfilled. This is the same for all of our requirement lists (admissions, health, and financial aid).
