Folks,
Good morning! Hope you're doing well.
I've been training our Reception staff on using the Constituency module in GNECsis for Contact Management purposes. It's working very well, but there's one item that would be extremely useful. Under the Advanced Search on Constituency > People, there isn't currently an option to select 'Active' records in the way you can under Academics > Students. This would be good, as the most common thing they will be using it for is emailing out to all current students.
Now, I know the Directory function only looks up Active students, which is useful. However, lookups there are tied to Campus, and to Directory permissions, and the Person Advanced Search is a much more reliable way to for them to get the right coverage each time. Is there a way the 'Active/Inactive' criteria can be made a search condition for Constituency > Person ?
Thanks!
Hello,
This is very reasonable. I have added this to the list of upgrades.

Folks,
Good morning! Is there any movement on this item? Our Contact Management staff are having some difficulty using the system for their core functions without it.

Hello,
The ability to search for active students in the advanced search of people is unfortunately not a quick addition. However, there is a different solution that works just as well. It is called Recurring Contact Lists. These are saved contact lists that are tied to queries and when you press generate, it will return and save a list of people that meet the criteria. I have set one up for you and will email you a video that will walk you through the parts of a Recurring Contact List.
