This is a followup on the project Alan was working on and he asked me to add a ticket.
We need Genesis to auto assign a library number so the export/import with Mobius is more automated. We can provide the initial 13 digit number and then Genesis can just assign the next available number to the next matriculated student.

With our campus id, we have a beginning prefix and then add the person id to it and pad it up to a certain length.
Could we do something similar here and have a field for patron barcode prefix and patron barcode length? This would help in the automatic generation, but may not be the exact next number from your system, but if we started with the similar prefix (with maybe a 1 at the end) it would have the same impact. THoughts?

The solution I listed above I believe will be the most flexible solution for you as well as other schools, so I went ahead and completed it as listed above. It will be included in the next release, installed later this week.
