One of the biggest user/student errors we are seeing in registration is choosing the wrong delivery type or none at all. Here are our thoughts on reducing the overhead from the registrar's office.
- We would like to make delivery type a required field.
- We would like to cross reference a student's Residency Type and the Delivery Type so that

- If they match, ex: If Residency=Local and Class Delivery Type=Residential, then no alert
- If they mismatch, ex: Residency=Local and Class Delivery Type=Video Conferencing or Residency=Distance and Class Delivery Type=Residential, then an alert is given to the student on registration
- If the student continues with a mismatch, the registrar is notified when granting approval
Is this possible? Reasonable? Helpful to others?

To my knowledge NTS is the only school that is using these fields regularly, but this is a area that could be very confusing or overlooked and thus I think it would be very helpful to others.
