There is already a solution in place that you may not know about. On the search screen on financial aid. Any time a student accepts or changes or declines an award letter online, the system sets the Flagged for Review "flag". You can search for this flag and then go over each student that has the flag set. For each student clear their Flagged for Review button. This will allow you to make sure you have processed each change for the students that have made changes to their awards.
Please let me know if this is sufficient for you to manage this, or if you still want a email notification or task each time an award is accepted/declined/changed online.
