error when splitting transaction

Hi,

I was trying to split a transaction and I received the attached error but the amounts are equal.

Please advise.

Possitive Negative

Hello Cindy,

It looks like the original value being split is showing as positive. You are splitting as negative numbers. I think it needs to be entered as the same sign.  Can you see if putting the same sign works properly?
