Course Modality

Hi,

Our accounting office has this little challenge on knowing whether the student is doing studies online or in-person (face to face). I wish there is a way to include some choices in the application form to be shown later in the personal profile. The accountant takes a hard time determining who is doing studies purely online or on-campus.

I imagine it should also be able to be generated in the report since this is widely needed by our institution. It can also be something we can add or edit in the student profile.

Thank you.

More questions

There are several questions I would need answered to be able to give you a full answer.  This would probably be better for us to work through in a Zoom meeting.

  • "I wish there is a way to include some choices in the application form to be shown later in the personal profile."  We do track the Mode of Study on a Student.  This is set for a person in general. Do you have students that are online, on campus and blended (do some online and others on campus)?
  • "The accountant takes a hard time determining who is doing studies purely online or on-campus." Do you track if a specific class is on campus or online? Do you allow any classes to be blended (online and on-campus in the same class)?

Explained Options

Hello,

In summary of our meeting, you have the following options.

  • Enable "Allow Enrollment with Different Delivery Method" on the classes that you would like the advisor to be able to set the delivery method for each student.
  • Advisors when registering students to a class will be able to select the delivery method.
  • Delivery method can be added/overridden at the student level by editing the Schedule or Class Enrollments.
