Is there something that could be added to allow us a little more specific control over when surveys release to students? At the moment it is linked to the End Date, and so if we want them to release early we can move that earlier. However, I'm aware with the upcoming changes to our Data Reporting requirements, it's likely that Class/Term End Dates may take on a more important role (to calculate levels of student activity within a given timeframe, etc) so once those are correctly set we won't want to move them if at all possible.
Could we have a Date box on the Academics > Administration > College Term for example that was "Survey Release Date" - if blank it would release two weeks before the End Date as normal, but if set would release surveys for the term on this date?

We have added a new option in class under surveys "Surveys Visible Start Date Override" which allows the survey open date to be earlier than the default which was the last piece missing in the override and will give maximum flexibility for what is needed.
