Can we get Degree Tracks mapped to "Job Title" in Active Directory? We want our AD records to include the Degree Track so we can filter on the Job Title field. I think it would just be an extension to what Alan already has set up.
Once done, is there an easy way to push that out for the active students already in AD? (I am assuming maybe a bulk "uncheck" for "synced to AD."

Hi Stephen,
The first challenge I see is that we don't have an "active" studentmajordegreetrack. One can have multiples of these and there isn't a definitive point where I can tell this is the one to send over to AD. Your NTS record is a good example of that. I looked to see if I can filter by those with graduation dates, but that doesn't work either (campus id 660005483) is an example. Also, if you have double majors or certificates with a degree (which it seems you do) that doesn't work. This is the biggest hurdle at this point. We could possibly put on a tickbox for "Send to AD" on the student degree track and limit it to 1 as one option.
I also am not sure if you want the degree track name, the transcript display name or some other code/value pushed over to AD.
There isn't some quick and easy way to handle the update of all the existing student. I would have to write a routine to push them all out specifically for that task. It can be done, but just noting it isn't as easy as unticking a box and redoing the updates.
What will be used to process these later? It might help to hear how you will use these later as maybe there is another way for you to connect and get this.

Hi Alan,
I think "Degree Tracks" section is where we want to draw from. There at +130 options there, but we are only using 7 things or something like that so it will be a good field for us to narrowly group our students. ex: DMIN, MDIV, MDIV COSAC, etc. This is what I want mapped to "Title" in the organization tab in AD. We will use that to sort students in our new student app that we are rolling out.

Your #2 and #3 got us thinking a little more and the multiple degree tracks will be problematic for one AD field.
I think we can close the ticket and instead, work with Jeffrey Beam who is building a connector to our new campus app, to bring over the Degree tracks as multiple user tags for each student.
