I have been using the advanced search feature to search for students that had a change in academic record and then using that list to do the billing. I received a FAFSA 660016597 and they do not have a billing at all so I am not sure how it got missed but can someone take a look and see.

We know the reason for the issue and are working on a solution. The flags are set in Student Accounts which means a student needs a student account profile in order to have the flag set. Currently new students do not automatically create student account profiles. We will provide a solution for this.
In the mean time I have sent you a Recurring (Generated contact list) contact list in your saved contact lists. (NO STUDENT ACCOUNT PROFILE) You will be able to run it daily until we have a fix. This will give you a list of students that are active and do not have a student account profile. (currently 6) You will be able to generate the students, load the result, and then select them and run the group "billing for selected".

If Student Account is turned on in Host, if a student registers for a class and doesnt have a student account profile, one will be created. THis will allow the change flags to be set on the profile. This will be included in version 2.56, installed at the end of this week.

It seems that we are still having an issue with billing through advance search. Two students 660016576 and 660016578

The change that I put in would be for new students as they are admitted. For future new students, it will create the account profile and set the flags. Any existing new students you would need to use the contact list that Dana created to find new students and bill them.

So, is your current issue that the billing is incorrect or is your current issue that the academic change flag isn't being set when a student registers? If it is the academic change flag isn't being set, this is cleared when you generate charges. Has this ibeen done for this student?
If it is a billing issue, please enter a new item or update the billing issue topic. Just need clarification

I reached out to Cindy and was able to work out the issue she was having. The entry billing year and student account profile ID was getting mixed up in the above language she was using to convey her request. I have opened a feature request to represent her desired process for the system automatically applying the entry billing year.
