Failing Grades still reporting credit value

Folks,

Good afternoon! Hope you're doing well.

We seem to have an issue with our grading scale - it correctly notes which grades are passes and which are fails, but on the student's academic record and on their transcript it still notes "Credits Attempted: 10.00" "Credits Earned: 10.00". 

It should record "Credits Attempted: 10.00" "Credits Earned: 0.00".

OK, we've solved the problem

OK, we've solved the problem (for now!) by changing the Grade Type from "Failing Grade" to "No Credit". Will this cause any issues down the line?
