Good afternoon!
When we set enrollment limits, and the limit is reached, the class "closes" and becomes absent from the class enrollment page that students see. I am wondering if I'm missing something with "waiting lists", because I can't see anything that puts students into an overflow. We are going to up our enrollment allowance so that we can make adjustments (i.e. creating another section). I wanted to reach out and see if there is something I'm missing. Thank you!

I am sorry for the delay in giving a response.
I have been testing all of this on the Demo site but I will get further details and give a full response.
Is your desired result that once a class is full that a class not be closed but allow additional enrollments that are automatically changed to status Waitlisted?
From my testing I believe that Advisors and students can still request enrollment in classes that are closed. The registrar can decide who is changed from enrolled to waitlisted. This might be due to the need to weigh who has priority in a class thus the waitlisting might not want to be set based on first come first serve. Audits for example.
