Please remind me of the difference between the two transcript buttons. One is Staff>Academics>Majors, Minors, and Audits, and the other is Staff>ATranscripts
My dean just went to Majors, Minors, and Audits to print a transcript for a student who is reactivating. The resulting transcript was blank. I also received a blank transcript from that tab.
However, when I went to the Trascripts tab and printed it, it came out complete.
The student in question is Paragas, Elsid.

This is a good question and one that is changing. Since we have implemented the new Degree Transcript there have been several updates to make it better.
Here are the main features of the different transcripts and why they may be used in different circumstances.
Degree Transcripts
Description: This is the transcript button that is sitting next to a Degree in the Majors, Minors, and Audits section of Academics. This transcript is designed to only show classes that were taken to fulfill requirements for the specific degree.
Standard Transcripts
Description: This is the primary transcript that most schools will use for their students. Classes are tied to a College. All classes that are tied to the Transcript College will display on the transcript regardless of the degree requirements. This is designed to provide a complete academic record of the classes and grades a student took at any particular degree level.

Would it be possible to change the wording on the button in Majors, Minors, and Audits so as to reduce confusion? Maybe "Degree-Track Record" or something like that?

It is a transcript and several schools plan on using this exclusively for their transcripts, so it might be difficult to make this change for all schools. Its my understanding that your school was possibly going to use it as well for the students that have taken multiple masters degrees. I know that there is still work needing to be done for the satisfaction and non satisfaction for each of the degrees. But if I remember correctly this function was made with your school as being one of the primary users.
I have made a task to see if the developers can find a solution.

Thanks for the input. I added a note at the top of the Degree Track grid in Majors, Minors, and Audits. It says "Note - Transcript options below are based on Degree Track. See Transcript section for additional options".
This will be included in the next release.
