I have a request for what is hopefully quite an easy mass action. We have in our system a category called 'NTC Alumni' which contains everyone from our old database that had the 'Alumni' trait. We brought it across as a category for a number of reasons, but as I continue to explore the functionality of GNECsis, it would honestly be better to have them all tagged with the formal Alumni Role going forward.
Is there a way to do this in bulk behind the scenes? Essentially, it would mean everyone with this category tag would the Alumni Role appended to their profile. For some of them I could find them using the Graduated Non-Alumni Analysis, but some of the records are old enough they don't contain a programme record.

People show up with the alumni analysis tool if they have a graduation date but are not already in alumni.
So, if they dont show up there, they are either already alumni or they do not have a graduation date.
If they dont have a graduation date, you can do a a search in student, and use the "Update SElected" option then "update degrees" and you can update graduation dates in bulk from this page.
You can also add alumni records manually if they are not in the system as students.
