Is it possible on instructor portal to search classes by department? I have some department heads who would like to see all of the classes scheduled for their area (and also the common core) so they can communicate with adjunct professors.

I just added a department drop down to the ‘View All Available Classes’ page. It will be available in the next installation, later this week. Good suggestion.
To follow up on this: my program directors want to see the enrollment in all the classes in their area. I do not want to add them to the Academic Dean group, however, since that would necessarily give them staff portal access, which they do not want or need.
When I just tried the above, it gave me the class but not the enrolled students’ names.
The heads of departments/divisions can assign themselves access to each person in their department (same way they assign access to an instructor’s assistant). Then, using the drop down box on the main classes page, they could see as the instructor sees for all of their classes.
If you have a different idea in mind for how to accomplish this, let me know. I am open to ideas.
