Dear Kindra and Dana!
Hi! I have this problem about a PhD course being cross-listed in the Master’s level. We have 3 students in the Master’s level whose course is showing as PhD (i.e. HCD802) in their registration instead of CE300. How could this be resolved? Please see the attached screen shots. Thank you very much for your help!
Sincerely,
Judy :)

Hello,
The answer is related to how the class is enrolled. HCD802 is the Parent Class but anyone that is taking the class as CE300 will need to be registered with the cross listed name from Advisors or if they are enrolled in HCD then it would need to be manually assigned as cross listed as CE300. Below is a description on how both methods would be done.
Advisor:
The Advisor will be able to see the class and its cross listed equivalent on the available classes list (its the same class but they will see the different versions). In this case the masters students were assigned the HCD802 and not the CE300. See Screen Shot 1 for the advisors options to enroll the students in the class. The advisor should select the class that is related to their major ( the system will take care of the magic in the background).
Registrar/Academics
If a student has been enrolled in the HCD802 and not the CE300 and needs to show that they are taking the class as the crosslisted CE300, then this can be done by going to the student and updating their Scheduled Class. Go to the student, go into Edit mode, go to the schedule section, select year 2020-2021, update the term that has HCD802, update the class HCD802, Click Update for the "Taken as Cross Listed Course", select CE300, Press ok and return. The student enrollment will now show CE300 and not HCD802. (See screen shot 2)

Hi, Dana!
Thank you so much! I was able to update the two other Master's students registration into CE300 instead.
Sincerely,
Judy:)

I updated a student taking HCD802 for CE300 so you can see how it looks. The students last 4 of their ID is 2521. The other 2 students need to be still updated using the above instructions for Registrar/Academics.
