We have a class/course that was created with a wrong course ID. One student is already enrolled but the class hasn’t begun yet. Can wr change the class number to the correct one or do we have to disenroll the student first?

You can not change the course number for a class after it has been created. This would be potentially confusing for the student and for the system since the course number is the major identifier. You will need to unenroll the student, delete the class (or mark it as cancelled) and create a new class with the correct information.
Hi, Kindra! I think the students wouldn’t mind that much about a course number that has been changed. But, I would agree that with the course title change they will. As a rule, I am not allowed to change a current course title using the same current course number, because that would also change the course title on one’s transcript which would create a real confusion. Rather, I need to assign a new course number for a new course title. Thank you.
