Dear Friends,
Hi! Our Program Director had advised a student for added courses she needed to register. Please see the screen shot. But, when I checked the name from the Process Proposed Schedules menu to generate her record, I couldn't find her name there. Any advice? Thank you.

Hello!
For proposed schedules they have several possible steps before being able to be approved by the Registrar/Academics.
Here are the main possibilities for the schedules.
Proposed Schedules Prior to any classes starting (class start date):
For student proposed schedules or advisor proposed schedule, the advisor needs to approve the proposed schedule prior to registrar/academics finalizing the proposed schedule.
Proposed schedules with at least 1 class having already started (class start date):
For student proposed schedules or advisor proposed schedules, the advisor needs to approve the proposed schedule. ALSO: the lead professor of the class that is being assigned after the start date needs to approve of the late registration. Once the lead professor of the class has approved the registration the proposed schedule will be available for the registrar/academics to finalize the proposed schedule. The reason for this is a late registration may put a student at a impossible to catch up situation and thus the lead professor needs to approve of the late start.
If you look at your screen shot above the proposed schedule still needed R.Lising approval for CE133 as the class had a start date of 13.8.2019 which was before the registration on 14.8.2019.

Hi, Dana! Sorry, but we are still being challenged by this professor approval feature. Please remove it for all professors. But what is needed is a sort of notification to professors that a student was added to their class. No need of the professor's approval. Thanks a lot for fixing this for us. God bless!

Hello,
Kindra has come to your rescue. The update should have gone live a couple hours ago. Any existing professor approvals unfortunately are already in place and will need to be approved by the professor or the registrar. There should be no new required approvals however. If you have any future troubles with this let me know.
