Hello,
I have a loan that because of some date determination issues I incorrectly released a loan disbursement and then had to cancel it. I now need to redisburse it onto the students account and I can not seem to find a way to do it. I have changed the disbursement date and when I go into scholarship disbursement and choose loans with todays date that student did not show up on the list. Can I please get some direction on how to solve this problem.

Hello,
I will email you to get the name of the student and will then send a video of the fix. For the rest of the community I will post an update with what needs to be changed to have a disbursement show up on the disbursement list.

It appears that when a financial aid disbursement is Reversed it is generating the proper reversing transaction in student accounts but not setting the disbursement back up into a status that will allow it to be reapplied at a later date. The solution currently is to go into the disbursement and update the Disbursed amount to blank and the applied to account as blank. This is ONLY for Reversed. Revised should still reflect the proper total disbursed amount value.

This specific case the award was REVISED and not REVERSED. The system updated everything correctly.
REVISED - This is to reduce an award to a new amount that is not 0. This is not to undo a full award. The system will maintain the total amount and not show as able to be disbursed again.
REVERSED - This is to remove the disbursement so that it is 0. This will reset the disbursement to be disbursed again.
