Instructor's field

Dear Kindra & Global IT-Team,
Friday greetings!
I have a question on the Instructor's field. For instance, I was trying to add an email address under Contact Info, for an adjunct professor, Dr. Amos Yong. But it wouldn't let me. I wonder why?  Please help.
