Hello,
When we register students for class, they go into proposed roster. On Instructor portal, we can print the proposed roster but not display it on the class page. Sometimes professors want to communicate with students prior to their enrollment being approved by the registrar.
What would be the best way to go about this? Could we use waitlisting and then move the students from the wait list to active roster upon finalization—rather than from proposed schedule to final schedule—and, if so, would we be able to email student(s) on the waitlist from GNECsis?

Contacting students in proposed registration

Waiting list is not a good option for this. THe professor can always go to the student page from the front page. This is a student directory, where they can contact whomever.
