Any suggestions on how I can record scholarship criteria in the financial aid module so that if a student has not completed either the scholarship application or the Thank you letter their scholarship will not be eligible for disbursement?

Hello,
I will think on this more as there are several other ways this might be managed. The primary way I would recommend to manage this is the following:
1. Create a Financial Aid Requirement called "Scholarship Application Sent": You would mark this complete when you have sent the student the application.
2. Create a Financial Aid Requirement called "Scholarship Application Received": You would mark this complete when you have received the completed application.
3. Create a Financial Aid Requirement called "Thank you Letter request sent" : When you have sent the Thank You request letter to the student you would mark this as completed.
4. Create a Financial Aid Requirement called "Thank you letter received": You would mark this as complete when you receive the letter.
5. You can change the awards status to "Pending". This will make it so you can see on the Disbursement page which awards you have not yet received the thank you letter and thus not disburse the funds until you receive the letter. You will just need to remember to change the status from Pending back to Accepted when you get the letter.
6. Financial Aid>Administration> Requirement Analysis. You can use this Screen to manage the Scholarship Requirements. I can make a new section for you so that you can manage your scholarship requirements separate from other requirements.
