After a bit of searching, I discovered how to mark a group on a degree audit (e.g., Basic Courses) as satisfied. Staff>Student>Edit>Degrees, Majors and Audits, 50 character max explanation.
Is there a way to reverse this in case it is done incorrectly?

Yes, on the student page under neath where you run the audit, any manual overrides either for a certain class or for a group are listed there, and you can delete them.
