When creating an application you are creating an portal user to access the application. The system restricts you from making a login that is already a login. The login on the screenshot is a already existing login. You would need to use a new login email. It is recommended you use an email address so that you can see what the emails look like that a prospect would receive. Gmail ignores the "." in the email addresses for delivery. So you can put a period in a different spot in your Gmail email address and you will still get the emails but the system will see them as new and unique logins.
